In Ghana, the demand for clean water is driven by rapid urbanization and a robust agricultural sector. However, the diverse geology—ranging from the coastal plains to the highland forests—presents significant challenges. Local contractors are now shifting away from basic slotted pipes toward specialized wedge wire screen pipe to maximize the open area and reduce the velocity of entering water, thereby extending the lifespan of the borehole.
